These healthy fats will help contribute to a feeling of satiety between meals, as well as give you the essential fatty acids you need to function at your prime. Healthy fats include olive oil, organic butter, coconut oil, raw nuts, nut butters, and avocadoes.

Eat Lots of Fiber

Everyone knows that including high amounts of fiber in your diet helps while you are trying to reduce your weight, but no one really seems to know why it’s important. Well, there are two reasons.

  1. Fiber keeps you from becoming constipated, which can happen when you make a sudden dietary change—even if that change is for the better.
  2. Fiber helps you feel full more quickly, and helps you remain that way between meals.

As a rule, you should consider including a serving of fiber with every meal, even snacks. In fact, I usually recommend you include your favorite type of green vegetable with meals, such as a salad or celery sticks.

Stay Active

While exercising doesn’t have much to do with what you put in your mouth, it can have a huge impact on the success of your eating plan and how hungry you feel. I’m not a fan of long hours on the treadmill, as you probably know. In fact, I prefer shorter workouts with more interval training and strength training thrown in because I feel it gives you more bang for your buck.

But no matter how you choose to get and stay active, you should know that it will make your metabolism more efficient, allowing you to continue burning calories several hours after your workout has ended. So while you are working on eating a better diet, find ways to incorporate active movement into your daily routine. You’ll train your body to burn calories more efficiently over time.

3.    Give in to your snack attacks! It is perfectly fine to snack throughout the day to keep your hunger steady and to regulate spikes in your blood sugar, but make sure those snacks are wholesome fruits, or veggies with hummus. Skip on the pretzels or chips, and instead nosh on something that will fill you up and keep you satisfied until your next meal.

The Best Way To Fire Up Your Metabolism, Burn Fat Fast and Develop Lasting Health

If you ask ten people, what type of exercise they concentrate on and use for their workout and as part of their weight loss program, they will likely tell you the same thing. Their aim is the same they want to burn fat and fire up their metabolism.They will also tell you that you need to do 30-40 minutes of moderately-paced aerobic exercise on a treadmill, elliptical machine, stair climber, etc. for 3-5 times per week.

The fastest and most efficient way to rev up your metabolism, burn fat faster, and develop lifelong health and fitness is to add lean muscle to your body through resistance training . It is the quickest possible time to build muscle and become lean. Having a lean body will definitely contribute in burning fat.

Let’s visualize all this to better understand. Let’s say you are eating the right amount of calories that allow you to maintain your current bodyweight, but you also began to add lean muscle to your body through proper resistance training – you’ll need to use some of those calories you’re eating to feed the new muscle, creating a calorie deficit in your body.

In addition, when you stimulate your body with proper resistance training, the repair and growth process will call upon your stored body fat for energy.  This calorie deficit combined with the repair and growth process will allow you to burn fat all day long, every day.  You’ll even get these fat burning effects when you’re sitting around doing nothing at all.

Also, properly conducted resistance training actually increases your heart and lung’s capacity for work.  By placing intense demands on your body, it is forced into being ready for anything you throw at it.  This makes you more resistant to cardiovascular health problems that plague most people…even those that exercise with aerobics frequently.

And the beauty about this type of workout is that you don’t have to spend much time working out to get the fat loss effects coupled with strength and muscle gains that will create this environment. The Real Truth behind Organic Foods

Many consumers are not sure what organic food is all about or even consist of.  Many market and specialized stores promote “organic food” or something that is “organic”.

Foods claiming to be organic must be free of artificial food additives, and are often processed with fewer artificial methods, materials and conditions, such as chemical ripening, food irradiation and genetically modified ingredients. Pesticides are allowed so long as they are not synthetic.
